Tribute to Earl Leader

On behalf of the International Lawn Tennis Club of Bermuda, we are deeply saddened by the heartbreaking news of the passing of our dear friend. Earl Leader, a founding member of the Bermuda ILTC

Earl was not only a talented tennis player and stalwart of the local tennis community, who proudly represented Bermuda in Davis Cup competition, but also an accomplished local musician whose passion and creativity enriched our community. Above all, he will be remembered as one of the kindest and most generous people you could ever meet. A true gentleman and someone whose presence would always leave one feeling uplifted and encouraged.    

As a coach, Earl made a lasting impact on so many players, sharing his knowledge, encouragement, passion and love for the game. His influence will continue to be felt both on and off the court for years to come.

His loss will be profoundly felt across both the tennis and music communities, where he was admired, respected, and much loved.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife, Sarah, family members and to all who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this very difficult time.
